Wk6 - Rocket Lab - HD Afternoon

5, 4, 3, 2, 1 BLAST OFF!!! Packing WAY more rocket power in 2026 and an exciting new launch location. Students, get ready to select, build and launch your own mid-power rocket powered by solid composite rocket fuel. In this camp, students will gain experience in model rocket building basics and safety while they work to build their model rockets in the new Design Studio on the St. Mary’s campus. Students will then have the unique opportunity to join a club rocket launch at the Rocketry Organization of California on Saturday August 8th. Here the students will be able to launch their newly built rockets and experience the excitement of watching numerous other rockets soar up to 7000 feet! We have pulled out all the stops for this year's summer program and as always, each student will be able to take home their model rocket at the end of the course.
