This summer, come and explore Chinese culture in a fun and hands-on way! Students will practice Chinese calligraphy using brushes and ink, learn simple numbers, and create traditional crafts like Chinese clothes and lanterns with paper folding. They will also paint bamboo and pandas with brushes to make beautiful artwork. In addition, students will get to experience Chinese food in a creative way! They will make model dumplings, mooncakes, and fortune cookies using paper or playdough. There will also be a tasting time for Tangyuan (Sweet rice balls) and Tanghulu (Sugar-coated fruit skewer). While making and tasting these treats, they will learn about Chinese festivals and fruit names, enjoying Chinese culture in a fun and interactive way.
