Wk1 - Mathletes - HD Morning

Mathletes is a one-week academic summer camp for students in grades 5–8 who enjoy solving puzzles, tackling challenges, and thinking deeply about mathematics. Throughout the week, students will explore key skills used in competitive mathematics, including logical reasoning, number theory, algebraic thinking, geometry, and problem-solving under time constraints. Students will work both independently and collaboratively as they learn how to approach complex problems, communicate their thinking, and persevere through challenging tasks. Mathletes is designed to prepare and inspire students to participate in math competitions during the upcoming school year, such as MATHcounts and the AMC 8, while emphasizing the joy, creativity, and satisfaction that come from doing mathematics. Whether students are new to math competitions or looking to sharpen their competitive edge, Mathletes offers a supportive, energetic environment where curiosity and challenge go hand in hand.
