Varsity 

Competition Song is a beautiful blend of cheer and dance. The Season begins the second week of school and finishes after Nationals on February 21, 2027. 

• Requirements: Open to students in Middle School (Grades 6- 8) with at least 2 years of dance experience. All dancers must have a coach’s recommendation from Mrs. Sterner. We require that they have at least a solid triple pirouette (turn).

• Practice:  Friday 1:15-2:45. (we will find another day/time when team is formed)

• Required attendance at a six-hour choreography day (end of August).

• Competitions: Required attendance at two local competitions Sunday, Dec. 6 2026, Irvine, Saturday, Jan. 16 2027, San Juan Capistrano

• Nationals on Feb. 21 2027, at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim

• Uniform: Required purchase of uniform, jazz shoes and tights for competition (not included in registration fee)
