5, 4, 3, 2, 1 BLAST OFF!!! Back by popular demand and packing more rocket power in 2025! Students, get ready to select, build and launch your own model rocket powered by solid composite rocket fuel, all while on the St. Mary’s campus. In this camp, students will gain experience in model rocket building basics and safety while they work to build and launch their model rockets in only 5 days. Students will log the flight altitude, acceleration, top speed, flight duration and other important flight statistics. Each student will be able to take home their model rocket at the end of the course. Sorry no rocket motors will be allowed to be taken home by the students.
