Join us for an inspiring experience where creativity and service meet the beauty of the natural world! In the spirit of environmental visionaries like Rachel Carson, John Muir, and Ansel Adams, our group will explore the intersection of art, service learning, and a deep connection to nature. Through service learning, we’ll engage in activities that give back to our local environment, fostering stewardship while drawing inspiration from its breathtaking landscapes. Students will work under the guidance of the OC Parks to clear trash from walking and hiking trails and clean the Aliso Creek watershed. While working in the Aliso and Woods Canyons Wilderness Park, students will create meaningful works of writing and express themselves through watercolor paintings to celebrate nature’s majesty. Students will leave with creative projects, memorable experiences, and a stronger connection to both their artistic voice and the natural world—all while contributing to the preservation and care of our local community.
