Join us for an unforgettable adventure to one of the most unique ecosystems on Earth, the Galápagos Islands!
Each spring, a group of students and two faculty chaperones travel to Ecuador for a week of hands-on learning, service, and exploration in the world-famous Galápagos. Students become part of a global effort to protect and preserve these incredible islands. From reforestation and habitat restoration to sustainable farming and wildlife conservation, every activity connects directly to the Galápagos’ delicate environment and its fascinating creatures.
Students stay on an organic farm surrounded by the islands’ natural beauty, caring for animals, planting trees, collecting seeds, and working in an organic greenhouse. Students collaborate with scientists from the University of Quito on real conservation projects, such as monitoring trees in the highlands of San Cristóbal and creating a safe habitat for the Galápagos Giant Tortoise.
Beyond service work, students explore the breathtaking wildlife and landscapes that make these islands so extraordinary such as snorkeling with sea lions and turtles, spotting blue-footed boobies and frigate birds, and witnessing rays, sharks, and tropical fish up close in their natural environment.
This is more than a trip, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live, learn, and make a difference in one of the most remarkable places on the planet.
