ES3 - LS Acrylic Explorers: Painting with Color & Light Grade level(s): K-5

Get ready to become a painting pro in Acrylic Explorers! In this fun after-school class, you’ll learn how to mix and blend colors, use light and dark shades (called value), and make awesome art that really pops! We’ll use bright acrylic paints to create exciting projects like glowing skies, colorful animals, and cool abstract designs. Each artwork will take 2 to 3 weeks to complete, so you’ll have time to take your ideas step by step and do your very best work. You’ll learn how to layer paint, use different brushstrokes, and bring your imagination to life on canvas. Whether you’ve painted before or it’s your first time, this 9-week adventure is all about having fun, trying new things, and making amazing art that’s totally you!
