Students will discover the difference between symbolic and naturalistic portraiture after exploring the works of famous artists, including Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Charles Demuth, Marsden Hartley, and others who worked in these styles. They will experiment with a variety of materials, producing highly original pieces influenced by the works of these great artists! Students will work at their own paces, in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
