ES2 - LS Spanish Club with Señora Fernandez

In this hour, not only will your child learn Spanish sentences and practice dialogue, but we will also create lots of fun projects such as building a piñata, and then breaking it! Although I’m one of 3 St. Mary’s Middle School teachers, I’ve taught Spanish to Kindergarten-8 th grade for over a decade in many countries. My international Spanish teaching experience has taught me that the best way for children to learn another language is to honor their enthusiasm all while learning and practicing Spanish in a fun, and educational way. We will incorporate Spanish games, art projects, and seasonal activities. Some topics we will cover are colors, numbers, simple mathematical equations, blending consonant/vowel, and short conversational dialogue in Spanish just to name a few things. We will sing, dance, and eat some snacks such as quesadillas. Learning another language helps your child in many ways!
